Short version: your photos stay on your phone, there is no account, and we don't sell anything about you.
There is no sign-in and no user account, so there is nothing on our servers tied to you.
One thing: a daily request to our server asking for today's two words. It carries no identifier, no location and nothing about you. The reply is a pair of words and the objects to look for.
The app asks for camera access the first time you play, because pointing the camera at things is the game. Recognition happens entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. No frame is ever sent anywhere. When you stamp a find, the photo is written to your device's app storage and nowhere else.
Only if you ask. Tapping "Tell me when they're out" schedules a local reminder on your device at 8am. It is scheduled by the phone, not sent by us, and you can turn it off in iOS Settings.
We never ask for it and never use it. The app has no idea where you are — "outside" is worked out from what the camera can see, not from GPS.
Plink World is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
The app contains no third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising identifiers. We do not track you across apps or websites, and there is nothing to opt out of.
Redemption is not yet available. If and when it opens, redeeming a reward will require information needed to deliver it — an email address for a gift card, for example — and this policy will be updated before that happens.
Delete the app, or use Settings → Reset inside it. Both remove everything. Because we never had a copy, there is nothing for us to delete.
If this policy changes we'll update this page and the date below. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
